The Jets of the Future

Lockheed Martin Supersonic Green
Machine
This article from Popular Science magazine is about planes that will create quieter transportation, more fuel efficiency and greener fuels. To be specific, the Lockheed Martin Box Wing Jet, the Lockheed Martin Supersonic Green Machine, and finally, the Boeing Sugar Volt.  The article was made to give us an idea of what new types of planes we will encounter in the near future and how they are going to be better environmentally. These new prototypes are going to be made at factories of Lockheed Martin and Boeing. This amazing event is going to occur over the next 10-15 years for the planes to be official. This is going to occur because aviation makes the air polluted with harmful gases and we need more clean planes and ones that go fast like the Concorde. We need to make the world a better place.

I feel that these planes will eventually make a difference and will help the atmosphere and lower the affects of global warming. They are going to be running on fuels that will help the environment and passengers get to places quicker. Also more of the energy left can be used to fuel a lot of other planes because there could be an excess. More people will also become more interested into planes and there functions and place in life. Transportation will be changed forever.
